This position under minimal supervision, sandblasts, cleans and paints vehicles, trailers and all other equipment as directed. Capable of using any type of paint/blasting material.
The Admin Painter/Sandblaster will be responsible for:
Qualifications:
- Must have good knowledge of the processes, techniques and materials used in painting vehicles and equipment
- Must have a good knowledge of the proper methods of preparing automotive equipment for painting.
- Must have good knowledge of the proper methods of caring for spray guns and other auto painting equipment and materials
- Must have good knowledge of safety precautions required in performing the work and have working knowledge of safe work practices.
- Performs interior blasting operations using a pneumatic abrasive blast system
- Perform exterior blasting operations using a pneumatic abrasive blasting system
- Perform Confined Space entries for blasting or inspection purposes
- Must be able to wear all applicable safety related equipment while performing duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
