Crane Operators are required to lift, maneuver and place equipment for various customers/clients throughout the oil and gas industry both safely and efficiently while remaining within compliance of all regulations, guidelines and policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates various types of crane equipment.
- Moves hand levers, adjusts hand wheels and depresses pedals to drive machines and control attachments such as swing booms.
- Pre-check and inspect all equipment before operation, which include checking the oil, fuel, general and visual inspection of the entire chassis (depending on the type of equipment being operated) windshield, all mirror, blade, wheel rims, tire, lug nuts, oil levels within wheel wells, and checking (while in operation) all moving parts such as handles, levers and steering wheel.
- Must have good depth perception
- Must be NCCCO certified
- Current Class "A" CDL required
- Must have the ability to lift ±70 lbs.
- They will perform other duties as assigned
- They work under the direction on the District Manager.
